What a Difference a Day Makes

I was going to post some pictures of the bags Im finishing for the upcomming season,
and the swaps from my first charm/craft swap. ..
...But,... after a most historical evening,...
I am still in deep reflection
submerged in hope,
and noticing
how things actually do look just a bit differently today.

I take a very deep breath... and a step forward like so many

I, too,
sing America.
I am
the darker brother.
They send me to eat
in the kitchen
When company comes,
But I laugh,
And eat well,
And grow strong.
Tomorrow,
I'll be at the table
When company comes.
Nobody'll dareSay to me,
"Eat in the kitchen,"Then.
Besides,
They'll see how beautiful I am
And be ashamed--
I, too, am America.
